My Bundt Pan Hand Painted Planter will give your patio that unique look you are longing for.
This idea sort of incorporates three of my special interests–cooking, crafting and gardening. Almost everyone has a bundt pan in their kitchen collecting dust. Put that pan to good use and convert it into a planter for your flowers. I was lucky enough that my bundt pan hole was large enough to accommodate my patio umbrella. I will give you the step-by-step instructions to make your own Bundt Pan Hand Painted Planter.
Lightly sand the outside of the bundt pan to remove any loose paint.
Drill a couple of holes in the bottom of the pan for drainage. Place the pan on newspaper or a plastic drop before the next step. Spray paint the outside of the pan with your favorite color of paint. It is better to paint two light coats of paint than one heavy coat. Wait at least 15 to 20 minutes in between each coat. Wait several hours before the next step.
Using acrylic paints, paint any design you so desire. You are only limited by your imagination. Dry overnight. To set the paint, lightly spray paint with a finish such as Preserve It or Crystal Clear. This will make your design last much longer. In summary, have fun creating my Bundt Pan Hand Painted Planter. Now sit back and enjoy all the compliments with a tall glass of my Frozen Strawberry Lynchburg Lemonade.
