I COULD NOT DECIDE WHETHER TO CALL THIS DISH A SLAW OR A SALAD SO I CALLED IT BOTH. YOU CAN DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT TO CALL IT…EITHER WAY, EASY BROCCOLI SLAW SALAD IS DELICIOUS!
Easy Broccoli Slaw Salad:
Broccoli is one of my favorite vegetables. Traditionally, I steam it in the microwave and serve it with a little cheese sauce. That is definitely yummy, but I was looking for something a little different. With this recipe, you still get a bit of cheese flavor because of the feta cheese that I used.
Ingredients Used:
Many of my salads (potato salad, macaroni salad, pasta salad) use Miracle Whip. I did not want to use the same old thing for this salad, so I combined the Miracle Whip with a little Marzetti slaw dressing. This stuff has been around for many years. In fact, I can remember my mother using it when I was a kid. The combination of the two makes this dressing a snap!
TIP: You will want to make sure your broccoli florets are cut into small pieces as shown in the image. This helps to evenly distribute the dressing.
Try this recipe to see what you think. You will soon be adding it to your favorites. Another of my popular broccoli recipes is Over-The-Top Broccoli and Tomato Salad. Whatever you decide to call it–slaw of salad, this Easy Broccoli Slaw Salad is one you will want to serve often because it is just that good!
