Firecracker Mascato Berry Sangria is all you need to send you to the moon!!!
If you are looking for the perfect summertime cocktail, you can’t go wrong with my Firecracker Mascato Berry Sangria. Traditionally, mascato is a little too sweet for me. But trust me, the mascato really sets off the fruit. I would classify this as a dessert cocktail since it has the addition of the ice cream.
Firecracker Mascato Berry Sangria
Ice Cream Scoops Made with a Melon Baller:
When you are ready to prepare the ice cream balls to top off this cocktail, be sure to chill a small tray lined with waxed paper or parchment paper for at least 30 minutes in your freezer. Using a melon baller dipped in warm water, scoop the ice cream balls out of the container and place on the tray, working quickly to avoid melting. Freeze immediately for at least 30 minutes.

Layered Fruit:
Layer the fruit in tall cocktail glasses. When ready to serve, pour in the bubbly mascato and top off with the frozen ice cream balls. You could let the ice cream melt naturally, but I had a hard time doing this. I wanted to eat the ice cream balls off the top which is perfectly acceptable according to me. So try a Firecracker Mascato Berry Cocktail soon and pair it with a Pretzel Cookie for the perfect dessert combination.
