Frozen Strawberry Lynchburg Lemonade is a cocktail perfect for those warm summer months.
The quality of the ingredients you use can make a world of difference in a cocktail. Be sure to use a good-quality whiskey–traditionally Jack Daniels. The fresh lemon juice gives this easy drink that special spark. Don’t use that bottled stuff. This drink will cool you off and warm you up at the same time, if you know what I mean. Topping off the drink with the pureed strawberry jam makes for a very attractive presentation and adds that special sweet flavor to an otherwise somewhat sour drink. In conclusion, you will want to serve Frozen Strawberry Lynchburg Lemonade often. Serve this drink alongside my Crab Stuffed Mushrooms for the perfect weekend whoop whoop.

Frozen Strawberry Lynchburg Lemonade:

- 1/3 cup whiskey
- 1/3 cup triple sec
- 1/3 cup sour mix liquid
- 1 1/3 cups lemon-lime soda
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam
Put the first five ingredients in a blender.
Fill the blender with ice up to the 4 cup line.
Whirl in the blender.
Add more ice up to the 5 cup line.
Whirl again until the mixture is thick and frozen.
Pour into two tall glasses.
Put the strawberry jam into the blender and blend for a short time to puree.
Pour on top of the frozen mixture in the glasses, serve and enjoy!
