By boiling the pasta in red wine and water, the pasta ends up tasting like the wine. So be sure to use a wine that you enjoy!
- 1 750 ml bottle of red wine that you like
- 3 cups water
- 8 ounces pasta of your choice
- 1 ear corn-on-the-cob, uncooked, and cut off the cob
- 1/2 cup carrots, sliced
- 1/2 cup green peppers, diced
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 cup iceberg lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup seedless grapes, halved
- 3 radishes, sliced
- 1/2 cup mini pepperoni
- 1/2 cup Colby-Jack cheese, shredded
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1/2 cup Ranch dressing
- 1/2 cup Greek dressing
- juice of one-half lemon
Combine the wine and water in a large pot and bring to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package directions. When done, rinse in a colander under cool water.
To the pot of cooked pasta, add the remaining ingredients, mix well and put in a serving bowl. Chill until ready to serve.
