Christmas Tree Almond Bark Recipe is so much fun to make. It is sure to add to your holiday enjoyment. You can make this tree with any assortment of decorations you choose. This recipe requires at least one hour of hardening time which was not included in the preparation time.
Spray a large cookie sheet with cooking spray.
Cut up a shirt box by cutting off the sides of the box.
With the long pieces, lay them together and bend to form the bends of the tree branches.
With the basic tree sides formed, tape the top points of the tree together.
You should have enough at the bottom to have some short tabs for the bottom edge.
Cut another strip to form the bottom of the tree, folding to come to a slight point at the bottom.
Tape this to the two tabs on each side.
Lay on top of the sprayed cookie sheet.
Microwave the almond bark for probably 3 minutes, stirring after each minute.
When the almond bark is completely melted, add the almond extract and pour it down the center of the tree mold.
Carefully spread to the mold edges.
You might have to hold down the mold to keep the bark from running under the edge.
Once the bark has filled out the tree, decorate the tree with any assortment of decorations you choose.
Let the tree harden at least one hour before removing the mold and cutting into bite-size pieces.
